Miki Agrawal Sets the Tone for Sustainability & Hygiene In Today’s Conscious Economic Climate.

As the founder of TUSHY and the innovative mind behind THINX, Miki Agrawal has worked hard to combine her creative vision with her fearless ability as a disrupt-her. An innovator in taboo spaces, Miki Agrawal has been named by Forbes as one of their Top 20 Millennials on a Mission.

Focusing on the taboo arena and how she can help her customers to overcome traditional battles with affordable and sustainable results, Miki Agrawal has more than earned a closer look at her work, her ambitions, and how she makes it all work together.

Meeting Miki Agrawal

Miki Agrawal first began her career in the financial field after attaining her B.A. in Business and Communication from the prestigious Cornell University. After a short stint at Deutsche Bank in New York City, Agrawal knew she was destined for much more than moving money around for her clients.

Leaving Deutsche Bank behind, Agrawal intuitively shifted toward a life of innovation and entrepreneurship when she established SLICE, a farm-to-table pizzeria that is now known as WILD. A few short years later, Agrawal would garner major media attention when she launched THINX, the sustainable underwear company that targets women during their menstrual cycles.

Broaching these taboo subjects would allow Agrawal to solidify her name in the arena, making the kind of forward progress that would help to make TUSHY a reality.

Introducing TUSHY

TUSHY is the latest goal by Miki Agrawal and perhaps the most important one she has taken on in recent years. TUSHY was established as a best-in-class bidet that was inspired by Agrawal’s own personal history with the device in her childhood home. After dealing with health issues that necessitated a bidet, Agrawal would see the opportunity for major innovation.

Upon developing TUSHY, Agrawal would continue her focus on innovation and sustainability by pushing to give back to underserved communities. Her work with TUSHY and THINX underscores a continued focus on addressing the hygienic needs of women in need from all over the world.

Along the way, Miki Agrawal has worked with a number of organizations while also partnering with non-profits that align with her values. Tushy recently entered a partnership with the non-profit known as GiveLove, which targets sanitary conditions and sustainable waste management in traditionally underserved areas.

Looking to the Future

As an entrepreneur and disruptor, Miki Agrawal is acutely focused on providing businesses that can thrive while engineering positive change in the world. Agrawal has long been revered for her focus on innovation, and her continued efforts have landed her on Forbes’ Top 20 Millennials on a Mission list. Additionally, a renowned public speaker, author, and empowerment advocate, Agrawal continues to push to create equality wherever she can.

Agrawal was born in Canada to Indian parents, where she grew up in a household that revered hard work, empathy, and education.
